How tight on friction sway control??
I was just wondering how tight I should adjust my sway control. If I can hear it squeeking, is it too tight. The directions for the adjustment are a little vague..

What type of sway control do you have? I have an Eaz-Lift. I just tighten the handle by hand until it stops. It really popped and squeaked when it was new dealer said it would. Not to bad now still has some squeak.

I towed the trailer a little over 400 miles today and the passing vehicles still cause the trailer to move but it definitely steadies itself out much better than before. I guess it was worth the money.

It's just the friction sway control bar that attaches to my Weight Distribution Hitch. Go to e-bay motors or any search engine and do a search for "sway control"......
