I have an 07 Dually 6 Speed. I pull about 16K or so wiith it. The clutch let go after 15k i guess this is the weak spot? Put a center force in and have had no more problems. The factory only rates the truck for 13.5 (i think). How much are you guys pulling with your manual trucks?

But your lucky and didn't get stuck with the dual mass and g56.

Anyway I pull between 17,000 and 19,000 pounds. I'd never buy another 6 speed as long as we get the g56 and dual mass.

I don't haul a lot, but I've put several thousand miles on with an 18-20k trailer on the stock clutch. Haven't had a problem so far.

Only problems I've had are when I turn the Adrenaline up and start playing. Then the clutch slips. Long as I keep it down it's not a problem.

It's a weak spot yes, but 15k miles is way low. Get off that clutch before you get into the throttle!

17K with Smarty Jr stacked with Edge Juice with attitude, HE351 turbo. So far the South Bend Clutch is standing up to all the abuse, my only complaint with it is that the clutch can be a bit grabby when first trying to start off from a stop.

Sorry I have never seen a 2007 3500 dually here with a 5.9 or a dual mas flywhel coupled to it. All the trucks available to us were 6.7 dual mass units.

What he said!!!!! Pull the slack out before you put your big foot to the floor and then more or less roll into it and not just stomp it.
I’ve pulled 15-18K on a regular basis for over 220K with no problems on the old 02, with the 09 over 25K so far pulling about the same.

I run 20-26K GCVW on average while on the road and 10K in town most times.

Mine bit it at 20K miles, but I think the Smarty and injectors had a little something to do with that?
