Hitch Height

Hi,
I have a 2001 2500 and I tow a 30' camper. I just got the truck and when I hooked up the camper the hitch height is too high. The hitch is adjustable but it is all the way down and i still need to have it lower. Do they sell a kit to lower my hitch, if so where? Thanks,
Paul

paul - the mounting shank for my hitch can be rotated 180* to accomodate different hitch heights. you just remove the head, rotate the shank, then remount the head. can yours do this? here is my hitch:

can't tell which hitch(looks like a wd) or mfg. you have but you need to replace the shank with a drop. probably 6-9 inches. contact the hitch mfg to see whats availble and part numbers then go online for price. Hidden hitch, ppl ect.

Go here http://www.reese-hitches.com/heavy_d...und_bar_wd.htm and scroll down to the hitch bars. They have many that are adjustable.
