hide a ball

I bought my truck with a hide a ball in the bed. There is a lever under the driver side rear fender that you can pull on but I am an idiot and dont know how to turn the ball over. From inside the bed you can see the square tubing the ball in connected to and there are two U-bolt like pieces facing down into the bed that you can pick up on. I cant figure out how to turn this thing over. Does it drop out from underneath then you place it in the bed upright? Im not gooseneck savy. Thanks in advance.

If this is a B&W, you have to pull this lever all the way out towards you, and keep it open. Then grab the ball, turn it upside down, and put the lever back in so it locks.

Pull the handle in the wheel well out and then give a turn.... it will lock in the out position. Pull the ball up, turn it over and drop it back in. Turn the handle back the other way and it will unlock and slide back in locking the ball in place.
