Help me hook up my trailer lights with the factory harness I bought from Mopar!

Ok, just went to the dealer and got the mopar 7 pin harness and connector.

It seems pretty easy except for splicing into a couple wires and one specific blue wire that runs into the cab. The parts lady said there is a 4 pin connector up on the "bulkhead" under the dash and it goes to that ... Well I have no idea what or how this works.

Any other tips or advice is welcome if anyone has done this.

FWIW, my truck didn't come with a "tow package"... All I have is the 4 flat trailer hook up.

if you look under the dash near the steering column, you'll see a blue connector just like the one on the end of you new harness. plug her in!

My harness doesn't have a connector just a blue wire for under the dash....

I got it from the dealership.

I'll go look again.

Only thing I'm seeing similar is a 4 prong connector with 3 green wires and one blue. Am I supposed to splice into this?

Also, do I need to hook this up? I don't have a brake controller installed yet but I'd like to get my 7 pin all hooked up for pulling without brakes and reverse lights today..

Ah, yeah I had no 7 pin next to the license. I just hooked mine up except for the trailer brake wire to the harness in the cab and the reverse lights. I'll hook all that up when I have the tools handy.
