Help on gvrw

How can I find out the dry weight of my 1976 19' Road Runner Travel Trailer.

It does not have the metal tag on the trailer like most newer models have that give this information.

It is not currently licensed so I can not take it to a scale.

Any help?

Thanks

i have checked mine at the scales over in taxon (oregon) and if you go over the scales an axle at a time and add them up you can tell.you have to know what your truck weighs though.

Since most DMV's want the weight of the trailer, I'm sure they would issue you a temp tag to get it weighed prior to registration. Temp tags are cheap.

If I was to happen a guess, Would likely be about 3,000 to 4,000# at the outside.

I would ask one of my buds to loan me a dealer tag or to tow it to a scale and offer the pay them something for their trubl.

Well, I was concered about the weight because I was still running a gas truck and it struggled to pull the trailer wet with a atv in the back.

I know it must weight 7K or 8K because I have pulled trailers that heavy and they didn't pull like this brick.

Now I'm not too concerned because, the CTD has been purchased
