Hauling a Cougar 5th

Just bought a 04 3500 SB SWR Diesel, great truck. I have a 02 Cougar 5th trailer and thinking about installing a Pull-rite hitch. I'm a little concerned about leaveling my trailer. My previous Ford F-250 was about 3 inches lower in the bed height. Anyone else out there towing a Cougar with this setup? Where can I find some technical information on this setup with this trailer and hitch?

I've got a Trailblazer 5VR and the same truck. I have the Pullrite Superglide and love it. The truck will come down about 3" with the 5VR onboard. My 5VR adds about 1300lbs to back of the truck when it is loaded and I have the potable water full.
The trucks rides just great and I think you wiil love the hitch.
What model Cogar do you have? Just make sure that it has an extended hitch that sticks out just past the front of hte trailer

Check out my members photos and you can see how level it is.
I believe I even have some pics of the Superglide there also.

Reese is a very good hitch also. And so many other brands intermix with the Reese Rails. That's what I like about them. You didn't say if your trailer already has the axles flipped. If not you could do that and that should level it. Figure 4" on flipped axles. Good luck in what you do.
