I just read in the latest magazine Pilot truck stops have out about shipping Christmas trees . Tree farmers prefer to load vans . Flatbeds require a lot of 2x4's nobody (trucker or shipper ) wants to bear the extra expense for . As far as DOT goes trees are an exempt agriculture commodity but I'm not sure what all that means .
