Cat trees black bear in NJ

Saw an article in the paper today about a 15 lb cat that ran a black bear up a tree in his yard. When the bear came down, the cat chased him up another tree. There was a picture, pretty funny. Wish my cat would do that, the only thing he'll chase is a snack.

Good cat. LOL

We used to have a Jack Russell, and he would scare off full grown St. Bernards.

Thats hilarious. I have a 15 pound cat named Jack as well. He is mean as all get out but I dought he would mess with a bear but who knows . The only thing I have ever seen him freak out over was my freinds 2-6 year old children. He hates them and will atack for no reason. He will even atack a large doll if you hold it up like its standing there. Most people hate cats but they are neat creatures realy.

Great cat, saw a video on that cat. We had an orange tabby, about 18# would run off racoons, came home with a duck once, caught a humming bird in mid air, jumped off a ladder. He loved coffee, and java chip icecream. He was a neat cat.

15 pound cat is no joke. I'd have to shoot that sonbit along with the bear.

Jersey was just in the news a few weeks ago with a bear in a neighborhood.

They taught him not to wonder into residental areas.
