We have a 2002 LWB extended cab 4x4. I need the GVWR on it for our new license plates. I don't have access to it because it is sitting in an airport parking lot for the next few days. Have to do this tomorrow. Help.

Karen/Bart. is it a 2500 or a 3500 (dually or single rear wheel truck)?

Since no one with a 2nd gen chimed in, my '03 says 9000 lbs; but I am not sure what a 2nd gen 2500 is. 8800 lbs?

In Maryland, my truck is registered as 7000 lbs. All my trucks have been registered at 7000 lbs, even the F350 dooley.

Thank-you for the responses. I will put it in as 8000 and be done with it.

Unless it is a dually then the GVWR should be 8800#. At least that is what my 2001 was.
