First Pull with my CTD

WOOT! WOOT! Color me happy! 1st trailer pull for many years and first pull with this new to me CTD. Simply AWESOME, folks, - better than I even dared to hope for. We pulled our 8,000lb 30ft bumper pull RV for just under 700kms (about 400 miles) over the last few days. The torque and power were were "as advertised" and we are looking forward to our next opportunity to pull.

The only downside to the trip was that, apparently, just before we got to our lake lot the Rear Wheel Speed Sensor crapped out. The ABS and Brake lite both came on and the speedo no longer works at anything less than 50km/hr. Thankfully the search engine here was able to point me in the right direction to fix the problem.

Cheers All!

Mike

Glad you are happy with your truck!

Check the fuses too.. may be easier/cheaper than a new sensor.

We just returned from a trip through Reno then up the coast. Like you, we could not be happier with the performance of our new to us 05. We don't have a pac brake but got into a couple of situations where it would been very useful.
