Fifth wheel rims

Is there really any difference in a light truck wheel and a trailer wheel if the bolt pattern, lug spacing and weight rating are all appropriate?

I'm looking for some nice wheels to stick under my fifth wheel. There are a few decent "trailer" wheels out there, but I think a set of something really cool would look great on a fifth wheel.

You pretty much hit the numbers: Bolt pattern, lug size, tire sizing, and weight.

BTW...weight should be stamped on the rim, somewhere. Sometimes on the inside.

Only other issue to watch for is the offset, most trailer rims are 0 offset. truck rims could be anywhere depending on style.

Most truck wheels aren't made to drag and torque sideays like the wheels on a tandem trailer.

I would worry about breaking the wheel from the sideways motions when turning.
