favorite river to camp by?

Tell me where your favorite place to camp is next to a river?

I live in PHoenix and my favorite river to camp by is the Verde River Up near Camp verde. Good Catfishing.

Trout fishing up near Clear Creek Above camp Verde..

Tell me yours!

The Manistee River in Norhtern Michigan around the last week in June. That's when the hex hatch is! The hex is a prehistoric sized mayfly that keeps idiots like me on the river between 10pm and 2am while the brown trout go insane. The nearby AuSable River is more famous, but more heavily fished, too.

Does it have to be a river? I don't think you can beat anything that is on the Northern Rockies!! I promise- if you have not been to any, you will be amazed at what Mother Nature has! My fav- Jackson Lake at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Flathead Lake by Whithfish, Montana.

I'll second that! Never a bad time to camp @ the Guadalupe River...especially from Apr-Oct.
