Question exhaust brake

wanting to install one on my 95 with the auto trans and was thinking of install a break in the exhaust pipe (4") . I read some where that the install in the elbow would not let me change to dual turbos and I want to do that someday so I`am leaning towards the in pipe style. could you all tell me what I should by, and what does not work. I have no idea of the best brand. HELP . later Don

I have heard good things about PacBrake and the PRXB brakes.

I have a 5" inline Pacbrake PRXB with twins. Easy to install and operate. Worth the investment for the added stopping power. Go through a lot fewer brake pads now and mountain hills are not a scary. I keep it on full time. No regrets.

I call USGear for a quote and they want $1300.00 + . I think that is a lot of money and would buy a big bunch a break shoes and pads. I will have to price them from everyone I can find. Thanks for the info. I want to twin my truck so this is why I want a break in the 4" 409 SS that I have . Later Don

The problems I have heard with USGear is the electric actuator not liking the road grime. If that has changed I would consider it. The PacBrake has a lot of options for fitment and is installed on large OTR trucks if that has any sway. BD is also available inline IIRC.

Iran a 4" pacbrake inline with my twins on the 01... Can't go back to towing heavy without an exhaust brake... Factory 4th gen brake is ok, but not as strong as my old inline pac.
