Engine bay battery isolater
Where in the engine bay would be the best place to mount the battery isolater (looks like an old starter solenoid) for my camper's battery charging?
Does it matter which battery I connect to?

2002: Installed mine on the firewall, left side ,between the resovoir and the
the hood hinge, the CB is on the fender wall between fuse panel and the
brake thingy?, wired the cb to the battery on left side..
Used self tapping bolts for the relay, short, and used step drill
to make sure drill did not go into things behind firewall.
