Do i have the record yet? (BIG LOAD)
well, do i?
well it all started when i was haulin hay out of the same feild with a couple of ford guys. they were hauling 18 bales and i put my 24 on my trailer and they kinda snickered and said "is that all your little ole dodge can pull?" i said nope, im just stopping to get me somthing to drink. i got back on the tractor and put eight more bales on it just to watch their jaw hit the ground. i gave them a little toot on the air horns and a little black smoke and i was out of there.
i know, i know not very smart. But im ONLY 16 and it wasnt all that far. and i bet you did stupid stuff at 16 too, so give me a break
32 bales x 1000lbs = 32000 + 16000 (truck and trailer) = 48,000lbs give or take a ton.

I would say that he's closer to 45,800lbs....
Truck = 8800 at the most.
Trailer = 5000 at the most.
Load = 32000 at 1000/bale.

Crazy ridiculous stunt just to put some Ferd guys in their place. I admire that in a man!
Great pic and it's now saved for attachment in an e-mail to another Cummins bud.....thanks for sharing it!

Very cool brian!! Now what you need to do is stack that much hay on top of the load of rock you had the other day, and then you'd have a pretty good load.

the most ive loaded mine down with was 24, and even then the poor suspension screamed for mercy... i had a 28 foot big tex tandem axle, so lets see, 24 x 1000= 24000 + 7920 (truck weight) plus bout 6500 for trailer, puts me at about 38.5K or so, still got a ways to go to catch up to that tho, (i wouldnt dare on my truck) The second heaviest was probably a 28 foot three axle gooseneck with bout 22 cows crammed in it, which total was probably close to 34K, each cow no less than 1000 lbs, third heaviest was the same big tex tandem, with a cat 416B backhoe 4wd closed cab with all the goodies..
Way to raise the bar Brian! how far did u have to go? and u werent scared of the bales fallin off the neck? i dont see how those were tied up or strapped down...
