Hey guys ,just wondering on a cannopy for a long box 2nd gen.Are most longbox canoppys universal?I mean will a ford l/b cannopy fit on the dodge?I know the chevs are a tapered box?Any advice will be appreciated.Wanting to buy a used one and all I see are ford ones.

I agree with Ted, the 2nd gen beds are not a perfect rectangle and I believe they are wider at the front of the bed. Not positive,,,,, but I'm pretty sure you will need a cap that's made for exclusively for a 2nd Gen Ram.

 

yes you need a cap built for a dodge. mine was ordered by a dealer in calgary and i'm sure it was made in kelowna or some place not far from you. i think it is made by raider or something like that. check my pics.
