sorry to burst your bubble but i believe the combo nation of the 3 6k axles and the trucks towing cap puts you over the 26k combo which moves you to a class a cdl and open to the dot rules

 

Nope . He's from Idaho http://www.dmv.org/id-idaho/cdl-faqs.php , The gcvwr for a 3500 is a maximum 23,000 lbs . It doesn't matter if the trailer gvw is over 10,000 lbs. It is way more trailer than he needs for 10,000 lbs. though and tires wear a lot faster with 3 axles .
