Building a Beavertail and Ramp.

Hey guys,

I am wondering if anyone has pictures or drawings of a beaver tail project. I'll be building mine on the back of a turbo diesel box truck, and I'd like some insight from anyone with experience.

It will mainly be mowers up the ramp (quads on weekends), but would love to drive a small car up it if the added materials don't up the price tag by too much.

Thanks!

All I could give you is a drawing of a beaver tail that I use when I build a trailer. Shows where to cut the I-Beam frame and how much to cut to acquire the desired degree of angle.

Dunno if this would help or not, but I'll post it up if you think it would.

Well something's better than nothing. Maybe it will get me going in the right direction. Look forward to seeing it.

I don't know how much this will help you, it isn't what I was thinking it was. I thought I had a plan showing the actual beam but instead I just have the cut spec's to achieve 12 degrees of beaver tail angle. Shows how long it's been since I had to reference the material!
