Brakesmart waiting list

Anyone know how long it is taking from the time you order to the time you receive a Brakesmart controller?

Just e-mail them. I did before I ordered, and got a prompt reply. I placed my order, and they filled it when they said they would...

Just got back from a 2000 mile tow with my BrakeSmart. Hills and mountains, dry roads and wet. That BrakeSmart was smooth and predictable. It is worth waiting for.

People can be happy with hamburger if they've never eaten prime rib.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my Prodigy for a Brakesmart. I loooove the Prodigy compared to a Draw-tite Activator, but it's still a pain in the butt.

It comes on strong and actually does it's job, then backs off so far that it doesn't do crap. Really annoys me at low speeds locking up the trailer brakes at stop signs and lights.

Any problems with the Brakesmart like this when heavy(28K+)??? (RustyJC??)

Thanks Guys,
Chris

It only took 2 weeks to get mine when they had the delay posted on their site.
Like Casey said well worth the wait.

I've hauled 33,000 total weight and it worked flawlessly and seamlessly.
Its been one of the best products I nave added to any truck for towing. I had a few Prodigy controllers in my other trucks and I would encounter a loss of braking from brake fade. I don't get this with the Brakesmart.

Thumper, what happened with yours? I know I had to go through a few Edge boxes on a clients rig, they all had some kind of internal glitch...now he has a good box. I think the electronic world can produce some faults but when it works...it works real well. Kind of like the trucks we drive. Many do not have a problem with them and then some are continually giving the owner trouble. I hope you get it figured or perhaps you already did.
