Brakesmart problems

I bought my truck with the controller already installed and I am having problems with it. I have no read out on the display, but if I press the red button I get the beep sound. Also it goes in the power save mode when you don't mess with it for so long. Is there anyway to reset it or what do I got to do to get a display? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Doug

I think there is a way to adjust the display brightness, but I don't think it allows you to set it so dim as to not be able to see it.

I think the first thing I would try is unplugging it from the blue plug under the dash for a bit, and plugging it back in.

Well I seemed to have fixed it. I called the Brakesmart folks and they told me to unplug if for ten minutes and replug it. Well that worked. Thanks

Turn it off for 10 minutes, then turn it back on - is Brakesmart owned by Micro$oft??

I thought that might fix it.

Worked for the Mars rover, too, if I recall...
