Brake Controller Question
I know this has been discussed a thousand times here but I don't have the time right now to go back and read through all of the other posts. I need to get brake controller for my truck. I want a good one, but not necessarily the most expensive thing on the market either. Also, if anyone has a good source for them I'm all ears.
I was thinking the Prodigy made by Tekonsha was one that I've seen several people recommend??
Thanks for the help.

How about a price of $82.99 with $7 shipping from Amazon Auctions for the Prodigy?

I just ordered one myself.

Welcome Back
Hey Hoss,
We missed you, man. No one to give those sarcastic replies.
Hope the trip was a good one.
Do yourself a favor and buy the Jordan - - absolutely the smoothest controller on the market. It costs more than a Prodigy, but sure is worth it. Used both - - won't switch.

Thumper, thanks for the info.
Crabjoe, is that a good price? I haven't even begun to price these things yet.
Crobtex, Richardson is close to me. I may have to give those boys a call.
Bob....me??? Sarcastic??? Couldn't be!!!
Consider this....I rarely pull a trailer, but due to a new business my wife has started I will likely be pulling either a TT or a cargo trailer once a month to a place about an hour and a half away....and back. Considering that, is it still worth it to spring for the Jordan? What should a Jordan cost? What's the difference between the Jordan and the Prodigy?

Thanks for the link. Looks like the Jordan works directly off of the brake pedal on the truck and the Prodigy works off of inertia. The brake pedal method would seem to make more sense to me.
How hard is the Jordan to install?
