I was wondering where you guys all install your controllers. I have an older 5700 series Tekonshia thats about the size of a VHS cassette and I don't know where to put it.. There aren't too many flat spots to mount the thing that isn't gonna be booted or in the way..Its the pendelum style controller so I can't have it bouncing around or at very steep angles.
Any thoughts?? I am curious as to where to mount it.

I mounted my Hayes-lemmerz Energizer III on the left side of the steering column right above the hood release. But mine is mounted near verticle, but it still has more tilt to go if needed.
Note, I have a scab on my left knee from the mounting bracket that was hanging down a little. I have since bent the bracket up smooth against the controller.
It is in a very comfortable spot to operate by hand if needed, and can keep an eye on the light pretty easily.

Mine is mounted on the knee bolster to the right of the steering wheel. I wanted it in a real comfortable spot to reach in a quick braking scenario.
But now with the Brakesmart Controller residing in the same place, not a lot of need to be grabbing the thing
Still it is nice to have it close where you don't have to hunt for it in an emergency, just in case you need trailer brakes only

Brakesmart eh? Ya thats a nice unit for sure..
Thats the problem I have is I like to be able to adjust the brakes on the fly and have the ability to manually apply the trailer. Maybe I need to upgrade to a smaller controller. For the amount I tow, the Brakesmart is a little steep.
Thanks.
Any other mounting pictures, suggestions??? Come on guys!!

Check page 17 of member photos, FiverBob. There is a pic of the Jordan mounted behind the Ebrake switch.

ps: Just noticed there is another member photo on "Recent Photos" of a controller mounted in about the same spot as mine.
