Bought new Pro-trak gooseneck and clutch

Just picked up my new Pro-Trak Trailer. Tandem dual, gooseneck flatbed. It is great. 32' by 8 1/2' wide, three spring loaded ramps, Tool box, chain box, more options than my truck. it is a low-pro frame with torque tube. Look at;

www.protraktrailers.com

Excellent workmanship, great ideas/features. Not that expensive.
They also added a winch plate for my new winch from Winches Plus.

If you are in the market for a flatbed, this one gets my vote.
PM me for the dealer ph number he treated me right.

I picked it up last monday in Texas and hauled some tractors back home to Iowa for a guy. it did awesome. Handles good loaded and unloaded. only weighs 6700# empty.

However, i did manage to tear up my clutch by the time I got home. Trying to run a turned up truck with stock clutch and 12,000lbs+ behind me taught me a lesson. I went and bought a south bend Con O. Thanks Peter.

It goes in tomorrow. I'll try to post some picts later.

Nice trailers, I'm shopping right now for a flatbed so I'll have to add them to the list of possibilities!

They do look nicely built, seem VERY reasonably priced too.

ON EDIT:

That website is COOL, making me want to get one now. Did you see how you can select a trailer, then click on the color choices and it show it in that color?

Pro-trak

This trailer is rated at 22,500#. The dealer I went thru in Missouri gets better pricing, because he sells a lot of the,. This trailer is black in color, Made form US high tensile steel, and good dexter oil bath axles. I believe they are starting to powder coat the trailers now instead of painting. I saved $360 in shipping by picking it up myself and lining up a back haul. The trailer i bought was $7300 approx. plus the $600 for the winch. I thought it was an awful good deal, i've been shopping around for about 6 months. I looked at a lot of manufacturers and this was the best quality/value for a good price. I saw used trailers sell for more.
