best bulldog hitch lock?

What is the best/strongest hitch lock to get for a bulldog hitch? On my old trailer, I was able to use a long shank lock, but it wont work on this one!

thanks

Yea, that's what I was looking at! I was just wondering if that style of hitch lock was any good or if there was something better? I was also looking for some type of way to lock the trailer while it was attached to the truck.

Thanks

Depends on the type. Some have a hole in the tube for a pin right behind the sliding clamp. You would need a lock that is very long in order to lock one. And others have a lever that slides the clamp that you can put a normal lock on.

Not lockable:

Yea, i have the top one, that is not lockable with a padlock. I purchased "The Collar" for when the trailer is connected to the truck, and a "guardian hitch" for when I'm unhooked from the trailer. I'll let everyone know what I think about them!

You can also get a locking pin for the top style. I had a Bulldog tounge lock for when I dropped the trailer, and it worked great, untill the lock mechanisim came apart...
