Banks Engine Oil Temp Gauge wiring?

Not even sure if this is the best place to post, but here goes.

I have an old Banks Engine Oil Temp Gauge (which I still see on their website). Unfortunately, there is no manual to download. I'm trying to see if either of the temp senders I have are the one that go with it, as I haven't used this gauge in years. I'd like to hook it up since I'm tired of it plugging the third hole in my pillar pod.

When I connect the two senders to the "S" terminal in back and put the sender into boiling water, I get nothing. I'm wondering about the "G" and "I" terminals -- do I need 12v power to this thing to make it work? Hoping somebody here knows.

Thanks!

Rob
