Trans temp gauge wiring

Getting ready to install my AutoMeter trans temp gauge and sender. The instructions call for one wire on the gauge to be connected to the "ignition switch". Am wondering how others have accomplished this connection? I do not remember doing this for my autometer turbo gauge.

Thanks for the input.

Re:Trans temp gauge wiring

Either tap it to a fuse that is "ignition on" (i.e. radio, power windows, etc...) or buy the painless wiring kit and easily install all your accessories! ;D

Tony

Re:Trans temp gauge wiring

The Painless kits are the only way to go.
No "fuse-taps", or "Scotch-locs", really a great add-on.
