Question Axle ratings

Hi all, I have a question on the axle rating of my 5r. I have an 03 276efs Keystone Cougar. The axles on my trailer have a 6 lug pattern and others I have seen (exactly same 5r year and all) have only 5 lug pattern. Are these different ratings? I assume they are, and if so does anyone know the ratings of each? The brand name is "AL-KO". Thanks Phil

Did you get an axle upgrade? And are the wheels/tires different as well?

Your axle ratings should be found on the label plate found on the tongue of the trailer. For the 5 lug question, a quick call to the manufacturer should suffice.

Found it! A tag on the axle tube... 4400# per. The sticker on the front left corner of the 5r said 3500#. So it has upgraded axles... Thanks Phil
