Anyone using a wireless remote on a winch

My winch control cable shot crap's. They wanted $60 for a new one. Superwinch sell's a wireless remote for $120. So since I haul alot of in-op's, I thought what the heck. I messed up and ordered the wrong wiring harness, so I'm waiting on that to get here before I can try it out.

I have more specific question's, but I'll wait and see if anyone has one before I ask.

YES they work nice, sit in the car and steer while you winch! Superwinch have 2, one is 7 pin and one is 4 pin.

Ya, I messed up and ordered the 4 pin instead of 7. Do you have one, or have just seen one in action.

My question is can I mount the antenna underneath the front of trailer by the winch, or does it need a clean shot to the back of the trailer. It's a 50' trailer. Anybody have any opion's.
