Airlift Wireless Air remote problems

I have the wireless air system on my truck and the LCD display is starting to fade from the bottom to the top. I contacted Airlift and they said if it's out of the 2 year warranty they will not cover it (which it is). I have gone through and replaced the batteries but it still does the same thing. Am I storing this wrong as I have it on its back on the cupholder? Are there any tricks to get the LCD fully working again?

Thanks,
Mike

Sorry you are having this issue. I have contacted my tech support manager to see if there's anything else that can be done with the display.

Thank you! While I have you on the horn, I have had another issue with sometimes the passenger side bag will not deflate when commanded to. I can take the airline off to deflate it and once I do that it will be fine for a few more cycles. I run the bags at 100 PSI as the pin weight on my trailer is 4500 lbs.

Thanks again,
Mike

Thank you for the response! The problem of the controler not deflating the one air bag is the main problem I guess compared to the small problem of the LCD on the controller. I have not called yet to see if tech support can help me. I have seen a lot of other people with the same problem of one of the bags deflating so I don't know if tech support can help me at all. If this problem is not resolved I may have to ditch the Wireless Air system and go with something more reliable. Do you know if this common problem has been resolved?

Thanks,
Mike

For this, your best bet would be to call the tech support line.

I think I found the problem as to why the manifold won't dump the right side bag. This weekend I could not dump the right bag as it was stuck at 100 psi in the cool morning. Then in the heat of the day combined with the added pin weight of my trailer (4500 lbs) the display read 173 psi! I hope I have not damaged my Pacbrake bags. I took the airlines off and found white powder inside the air line from the compressor (which came with the wireless air kit) had combined with moisture in the compressed air and made some kind of white crud that I can imagine has plugged the right solenoid valve.
