Which air bags????

I'm looking at installing air bags on my 06 2500 CTD.

Which air bags are best?

Why???

Thanks....

They are all about the same. I am very happy with my PacBrake Air bags. But I don't recall hearing about problems with any of the brands.

I had to grind the brackets a little for the Firestone Ride-Rites I have. Based on pictures of the PacBrake brackets if I were to do again, I would go with PacBrake if priced reasonably close.

I used firestone bags and the Air Lift wireless controller and compressor, Love the whole setup. We also tow a fifth whell and nice to be able to air up and down without leaving the truck...

Air lift was a easy bolt on.

Looking forward to installing the wireless air controller in a month or two.

I vote for PAC Brake, they were $279 as opposed to $450 and up (thats up here in Canada) for the other brands.
They were mounted in 2.5 hours including finding my tools I needed. Would have been less if I had of read the instructions as to which way the mounting brackets went on.

Mexstan, do you have any more informations about those airbags? I gues they are designed for off road use and for towing heavy loads in a long travel suspension?

Thx,
Kris

For empty use I have zero air in them, but when the fiver is on I pump some air in them to level the truck. If for some crazy reason I needed to, can even make the rear higher than normal just by pumping in more air. Take a look in my gallery at the photo of the gauges and you will see a single gauge halfway down the gearshift. That is actually two gauges in one and with the switches each side I can fill or deflate each bag individually.
Contact Carli for the full tech specs.
