Aerotanks no longer offers the aft axle tank.............due to cracking brackets

I just recieved a 60 Gallon replacement tank from Aero on friday, with the 15 gallon Aux rear tank. I have a 2007 quad short bed.
There are some quality and fit problems that I might start a new thread about Once you cut off your old brackets, you kinda have to install a product that has some issues

Aft means behind. So, a tank behind the rear axle where the spare tire goes.

That's interesting. Do you have any proof to back that up.

I've been very happy with my Aerotank 75 gallon replacement tank(s). The spare tire does sit lower because of the aux tank, but I still have good clearance. I went on a 3300 mile road trip (not towing) and only had to fill up three times. Of course, each of those times cost around $180.
