5th wheel hitch

I have a chance to buy a 5th wheel hitch. I dont know the name but it is a 24,000lb hitch. It sits on a set of rails in the bed and is removable. What is this worth?

Depends on the brand, and condition. You will need a rail kit most likely, or at least an installation kit.

The installation kit usually comes with the rail kit, but you can probably find it seperate. It's just 4 big/thick angle pieces, and 12 bolts you will need. The angles bolt to the frame, and then thru the bed to the hitch rails. Not really a hard job to install. Just takes an afternoon or so.

ok, thanks. I am getting this out of a f-350 powerstroke. i already have a gooseneck hitch in the bed which is just a steel plate with the ball welded to it. I am hoping that these holes will line up with the old holes.
