5000 miles in six days.

...while towing a 9K lb enclosed trailer from San Diego to WI, MI, and back. This little trip reminded me why I own a CTD. To think I was considering going back to a gasser, shame on me!! BTW, I averaged 12.5 MPG. Not all that great, but I was running pretty hard and had a huge head wind through KS and TX coming home. All in all a great trip.

Did a similar thing, towed a 30ft cummins powered boat from Cleremont, Florida to Gilroy, CA. and returned light truck. Great trip. Averaged about
11.5 mpg on the tow out and 19.5 coming back home. Have a picture posted here on page four of my album.

Drove 600 miles a day or 10hrs whichever came first. Ran through snow squals, dust storms, and the most yellow butterflys I ever saw in one place.

Could not believe when you entered California, you had to pass thru an inspection station for who knows what. I told them I was going fishing! They said see Ya.
