Thumbs up 2006 Tires

I am looking for a recomandation on tires for a 2006 3500 4x4 diesel Dulie. I have around 30K on stock tires and won't be much longer till I need these.
I do both daily driving and heavy towing.
Thanks
Richard

I am running Pirelli Scorpion LT 265/70R/17 tires. They are more of a highway tread, I see you have a 4X4. If you need a more aggressive tread I can't help you. I've been running these tires for a number of years and get around 70,000 miles out of them. I'm a hotshot driver and tow heavy all the time. They are good tires and if you don't need an aggressive tread they will work for you. The 265/70/17 is the same diameter as a 235/80/17, won't change your speedometer at all.

You did not say if you off road or need snow traction. Obviously if yo do, you need an aggressive tread.
I would look at the new Good year Silent Armor amd also the BFG AT TKO. Both have 50k warranties.

no mud or snow just a good highway tire for hauling and towing.

WOW, 30k with stock tires and already looking for new tires. I have about 30k on my truck and my tires look almost brand new still. I have done 1 tire rotation about 6k miles ago and I tow 20k all day long. STock tires on my truck are generals

Toyo Open Country A/T is a good choice.

I am at thirty thousand and mine are about gone. I bought some Firestone Transforces to replace the stock Generals.

Changed my OEM Generals at 50,000 . Gave them to a friend who has been running them on his truck all summer and still look pretty good.
Replaced with the Generals again and have about 35000 on this set and still look to have over 1/2 the tread left. I rotate every 5,000 miles and 99% of the miles on it are interstate towing miles.

Man , I got 100,000 out of the original Goodyears on my '04 and I did a lot of winter driving including a lot between Maine and Kentucky . You can check tirerack.com but I agree with the Michelins .
