19.5" wheels and 285's?
19.5" wheels and 285's?
Just wondering if anyone on here is running this combination:
19.5-inch wheels (Rickson) and Toyo 285/70/19.5 tires
I've got a heavy slide-in camper and this combination would certainly set me as ease with respect to tire and wheel weight loads. But I have to think it would ride (in the words of my 4 year old) super, duper, duper stiff.

I went with 245's because of the less rolling resistance, mileage and all. Don't know about the Toyo's but learned a hard lesson on open-shoulder, hard-rubber tires. Originally I went with the Dunlop SP 461 which wore really unevenly. Caused all kinds of shudder and shimming. I was lucky enough to trade them in on a set of Michelin XDS2's. They are made with a much softer rubber and almost look like winter tires. Love them, a much better tire.
285's will look cool...
