Fuel mileage increased a little on the highway and stayed the same in the city. The truck has 4.10's and nv5600

Can you PM me with where you got 19.5'' wheels for 200 each? I have been looking at 18'' MT's for more then that!

Mine have been on for 14,000 miles with no problems...My local Discount Tire didn't know they could get the Ricksons until I had them check their vendor list...I got their road hazard warranty and they rotate and balance at no charge whenever I want...I'm pleased...Ben

Used my Ricksons on a 2WD 3/4 ton with airbags while hotshot hauling both a 40' 2 car flat deck gooseneck, and later a 28ft enclosed tag race trailer (with a camper on the truck). Total mileage on the wheels are about 200,000 miles (just replacing my second set of tires).

The wheels are still on the truck (see avatar). There are also a couple threads in the General Topic forum about using the 19.5's that answer some of the questions about cost, mileage, etc.

Another place to get 19.5's is Stockton's in California. At the time I got mine Rickson was not able to deliver....so shop around.

Remember to check out shipping prices - these puppies are heavy. I'm running Michelin 245/70/19.5's and they are H rated (4900 lbs @120 psi). I load up with a slide in camper - the truck handles real good (OK, I did some suspension mods too - see sig.)

If you want plain steel wheels, Diamond Racing Wheels made mine for $175 each and freight shipped eight of them, not too pricey.

What did you pay for the tires you mounted on them back then?

They are about parallel with top of the line 16's. Over two.

I would go for that. I have to pay almost $200 for my stock 17's. If I have to spend that much, might as well get a tire that will last.
