05 reciever hitch rating.

on an 05 2500, what is my factory reciever rated for??? it seems like 90%of draw bars and 2" ball are 6,000#. just curious. thanks

The stocker should be 12,000 lbs towing with weight distribution and 1200lb tongue weight.....rated class IV.

I upgraded to a Putnam XDR class V hitch for extra capacity.
