Had to make an unexpected trip to Pensacola Fl last Saturday evening to rescue a stranded Porsche 928 that blew a 2 week old alternator. (Thanks a lot Robert Bosch &gt;)<br>Loaded up the car-trailer in Atlanta &amp; headed out at 1:30 AM Sunday. Arrived in Pensacola at 7:30 AM. Trailer weighs 3510 lbs on scales. Mileage 16.9. Loaded up the Porsche &amp; left about 11:00 AM after a short snooze. Filled up in Pensacola ran posted speed limit at all times. Total load now about 7500 lb on hitch. Once on I-85 cruised at 70-73 mph. The truck is great! Never downshifted once &amp; in fact on one looong hill just South of Atlanta I just had to humiliate a F-150 Supercrew (running empty). We were running together about 65 mph. I rolled into the throttle &amp; just walked away from him, even though I could hear that Ford drop 2 gears. near the top of the hill I backed off at just over 90. ;D ;D. Average MPG on return trip 14.8. (Calculated, trip computer said 14.4)<br>I love this truck!!!

 

Very cool. Makes ya just laugh when those gassers try to play with a guy towing a trailer. I had a F150 suposly had a supercharger on it race me going up a big hill. I was in a Excursion at the time towing a 6500lb trailer. We were running side by side and I wanted to get out of the fast lane cause of the big rigs ride in the fast lane and make grooves in the road. So I got on it little harder so did he. I was like WTH so I just punched it 25psi still climbing just barley walking away then he downshifted........So did I ;D 30psi blowing smoke everywhere. The guy finally backed off. Pulled into a gas station I needed to fuel up before Dieselp prices got really high. And he pulled in and I said &quot;Next time dont mess with Diesel's&quot; he looked at me like .Whole time I was getting 16mpg. ;D
