I went to the website for the pull on the 12th and 13th and found a list of who is pulling, what category and what night/class. Click the competitor list link on the page to see the full line up

It's funny, 1 powerstroke and NO Duramax?? There is one on saturday night called powerstrokeless, makes me wonder...Is a Cummins is under the hood?
I think I will be going friday night. Looks like nine pickup trucks and a BUNCH of tractors. This show looks great. I'm not a big fan of the gas burners, although those Allison V12 airplane engines are awesome. The more diesel in the air the better and especially none of those mini mods,
IMHO

Hello?? Is anyone around here?
Hey, I had an idea for a bumper sticker.....or something of that nature. Maybe I have seen it before and it just came to me today....don't really know, but how about this. " Will work for diesel performance parts" Maybe I can stand on the edge of the off ramps after work with sign in some ragged out clothes. Sign would read, " Valuable family member terminally ill, Please donate to buy parts"
Also, whats with people driving around with their dogs riding in there laps? I see them on the interstate, at intersections? Would this not be considered hazardous to our health? I know people love their dogs....I love my dog, but riding on your lap? I don't know which is worse, the lap dog or putting on makeup or reading the business section while driving?
I also found another chassis dyno. I was out in Mt. Juliet a week or so ago at the location of the new Mt. Juliet high school. I have been out there a few times before and have seen this place, but never could remember the road. If you go up 171 of I-40 straight up to highway 70. Turn right and start to leave town. You'll go past the John Deere store and a Kangaroo gas station and the place will be down past there, not to far on the left. I think it's Automotive Specialists or something like that. I know for sure it is on the corner of Benders Ferry and highway 70, on the left corner. I'm always in my work truck so can't really stop.

Boz i actually forgot about the pull, we're gonna be putting an NV4500 in my 91 this weekend, i was able to scrounge enough so i now have a 13inch Con OFE sitting in the living room waiting. now i'll have the holding power so no excuses for a poor showing at the dino day. probably gonna be the only 1st gen so i have to make a respectable showing!
well the trannies have been swapped. Shawn again... THANK YOU! the OFE is not fully releasing at this point but i think it has something to do with the external components i don't think the tranny will have to come out again. i left my house a 5:30am sat and got home at 4:00am sunday, shawn i hope you are not in 1/2 the trouble i was in with my wife! (pregnancy hormones aggrevated the situation) she's got tomorrow off so i'm not going near the truck i will spend the day attempting to make it up to her, lol. can't wait to get these other parts on an dyno this thing!

No problems at home for me Mark. She called just to see if I was alright. She is used to this kind of stuff from me. Actually, she was awake when I got home. I cleaned up and layed in the bed and told her I needed to wake up at 10am so I could go retrieve my tools at the shop! Then the cat attack at the shop! I just wished it turned out better than it did.
it turned out great. Southbend was not surprised or worried, they said to drive it around and it should seat in perfectly. if the problem does not go away within X amount of miles that i should replace the master and slave for the clutch. i just wish we knew that so we didn't feel like crap after about 20 hours of work!
Anyone here have a red quad cab 3rd gen, with a little bit of a lift and stacks? I was beside it for a bit on bell road at 24. It was a good lookin truck!! If not need to find him. I saw gauges on the pillar. Thing looked mean.

I saw one in the M-boro today, dually with some great big ol' bull horn turnouts on it, must have been six inches!! All I heard was him turning left as I passed him, but sounded good!!
boz, how's that clutch comin? think you'll have it in for the dyno day?
Shawn, your fingers all healed up? hopefully!
still waiting on part and working through the break in period on my clutch, then i get to have some fun!

Man I slipped the heck out of my clutch the other night. Bad thing was I think I was in 4th. Not good. I'm trying to baby it till the dyno day. I'll try to kill it on the dyno though. No guts no glory....then no clutch!! She's got to go sometime. I know I should go with SBC but I'm lookin at a valair just for the $$$. I've talked with several people who run them and they said they're good. Even for an occasional hook.
Its on its way (or already there) to SBC to be rebuilt and upgraded to the new Spring Hub DD design. I hope to have it back soon.
