What Exactly Happens When You "Subscribe" to a Forum??

When changing my profile a bit I noticed that I am subscribed to one of the forums on this website. I'm not quite sure how this happen because I don't recall ever subscribing to anything, but what exactly happens when a person subscribes to a forum? Am I supposed to get an e-mail every time someone makes a post or something? What does the "subscription" do for me?

It means that you have a "Past Bill Due Notice" ,,,,,, So pay up!

I would think that it should send ya a notice when someone posts in that forum section just like it does if you subscribe to a thread. However I've never subscribed to a forum so I don't know for sure.
Maybe Jack can explain. But then again,,,,,, If you've been subscribed and haven't seen anything,,,,,,,,,, maybe it don't do nothing,,,,,,,,,,,,, course it could be just YOU also.

You get a notice e-mailed to you with every reply to the thread.

Hmmmm....I'm not getting that...but I also don't want that. Time to go unsubscribe I guess. I don't know how I got subscribed in the first place, but that's okay. Must've clicked the wrong button or something.

Thanks.

Hoss, The "Mark all threads read" and the "Subscribe to this forum" are close together and, perhaps you hit the wrong link.
The fact that your not getting the emails could be that your email address has a type-o in it?

Just guessing.
Rich.

I can fix this issue for you Hoss, but in order to verify your identity, I need your credit card number and pin #.

That's very possible.

Hmmmm...I need to check my e-mail address. I'm not sure that I've EVER received an e-mail from this site.
