where can i find out what the little envenlopes on the left mean i'm really curious what the mean and i dont have any idea

There is a legend at the bottom the forum pages that describes what each icon represents.

O, I always use the new post featurem and it doesnt show up there..Can this feature get turn on?

It not tied to the way you make posts.
Take a look at the very bottom of every forum page and the legend should be there for everyone.
Example, take a look at THIS page and scroll all the way to the bottom, you should see the legend on the bottom left of the page.

I dont think its an option that can be turned on or off?
