Since this section is on suggestions, I have one. You should have a section of threads about general maintenance for the trucks (i.e. fluid changes, fluid specifications, etc.) Sometimes the search function does not work, and I don't want to post something asking what everyone else on here has asked before. I am a diesel newbie, and I love the wealth of information on this site, but I think a section like this would be of great use.

 

A lot of the stuff you are asking about is in the Tech facts section. For specific questions about fluids and change schedules you should consult your vehicle owners manual.

 

Thank you. I read through all the tech facts, and I found some useful stuff. I guess I was just looking for diy procedures or aternative to factory fluids that people use without having to try to search all the time. I know that I am supposed to use fluids that meet the specs in the manual. Ayway, this is a great forum.
