Thread preview by holding mouse over titleHi

Hi. I was wondering my this site doesn't offer a preview of the first portion of a thread when you hold the mouse over the title of the thread. This may sound picky but some people use titles that make no sense and i find it super annoying to go into a thread to see if I can help or whatever and find it is something completely different than I thought. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your comment. We have discussed it many times before, and collectively have decided not to go with that forum feature.

Basically, when you spend a lot of time on the forum moderating, it is a real hassle and it gets in the way.

Thank you for your response. I find the feature so convenient that I really only use forums that have it. As you can probably tell based on my limited usage of DTR. Anyway, thanks again.

Why would we care what you mods have to go through

Just kidding...it's a neat feature, but not a necessity

No prob.

Sorry we couldn't help you out, but we really do appreciate feedback. If there is anything else you can think of, please post it up. I can't say everything will get implemented, but if you never ask...

We have started a new plan to bill members that harass the admins... I need $100, please, or we'll terminate your account... lol

YES; that is an extreme annoyance, especially since it now can take several minutes to get the page to load and then another several minutes to just get back to where you started.

The titles many people use give no clue as to the actual content of the thread.

For instance, "MY AXLE BROKE" is straight and to the point and one immediately has some idea as to the content.
