Question Thread Envelope Icons

What do the diffrent envelopes mean? I tried to find out in f.a.q.'s but couldn't find anything there. Figured it had to do with the status of the post but would like details. Wouldn't want to post to a closed thread or something.

If you see folder, then that thread has been closed and you would not be able to post to it.

Any other folder icon is open for posting.

Rich.

The legend for the envelopes is also at the bottom of the screen,
on each forum page.

Just noticed that legend doesn't include all the icons Rich posted though.

We don't use that excuse around my house,,,, unless it's grey hair,,,, and then it's usually directed at my increasing amounts of it. My wife banned ALL "Blonde Jokes" when we got married!
