Thread Display Options?
Thread Display Options?
I've got "hybrid" mode enabled. Subordinate threads are shown below and indented relative to the original thread. However:
1) The thread list seems to always show "More replies below current depth...", which is really annoying. It would far better to explode the entire thread out so you can see where you are relative to all the comments, and directly click on any of them.
2) The display of comments themselves also doesn't seem to want to display all comments. On lengthy threads, you can't get all the comments on one HTML response. You always have to go back to the top, click deeper, wait for a new HTML page, and hope it goes deep enough - or else it's repeat, repeat, repeat to walk your way down through "More replies below current depth...".
Is there any way to set things so that all responses in the thread are shown in the index at the top and/or (preferably) included in the detailed display below?
Thanks!

mine is set on linear (newest first)
go to "edit options" on your user CP and you'll know what i'm talking about when you get there. i like it set up this way, you can also do linear (oldest first) but try that and i think you'll like it more.
let me know how you come out
