Spell check

Have there been any thoughts of incorporating a "spell check" of some sorts to help out the people with 10 thumbs?
Just wondering. Jim

Here (is and example of a forum with this feature)

The spellchecker is neat, but annoying when it prompts you at EVERY post.

Do you relly think we nead a spell cheker hear? (The problems here are mostly grammar related, the checker can't help that)!

But you can teach the checker which words are most used in your dictonary as most have the ability to learn. You can always turn it off if you do not want it.
Sometimes the posts seems to be more cryptic than the standard english language we all learned many years ago.
I know alot of errors come from the giant pointy finger syndrome when you hit the wrong key on the other side of the keyboard as you hunt & peck.
I just would like it as an option, because I usually proof all of my post.
Jim.

I've been using this one suggested by Lary Ellis (Top) awhile back.
It works great.

http://www.iespell.com/

It adds a spell check to your 'puter.

After typing, you right click, select "Check Spelling", correct errors, then submit for posting.

But I can't seem to get it to work with FireFox.

Here you go Spellbound it works the same as IESpell but is designed for Firefox and Mozilla.

Not quite as easy as it seems to be. First the version of MySQL on the server has to have a spelling module loaded. THEN, the real fun begins when you try to incorporate a different module into the vBulletin software.

It's much easier for the users to load iespell or spellbound. Works just as good and you can customize it to your system.

Well I was thinking "I" in my head but the right pointy finger didn't get the message at 4:00 A.M..
At least I can do what the government would do.. I left a way out and said "usually"

BTW I have noticed that when I post a message and someone replies, I do not get an e-mail any more letting me know that someone has responded.

This box is still checked, I noticed it after we changed to the new server. Any thoughts.
Thanks Jim

Yes, verizon is screwed up. If you have another address to use, I would change your profile to reflect a new address.

I have a spelling checker,
It came with my PC;
It plainly marks four my revue
Mistakes I cannot sea.
I've run this poem threw it,
I'm sure your pleased too no,
Its letter perfect in it's weigh,
My checker tolled me sew.
