Re:spel cheque

I sekund the moshun by Spots. Some of the posts are so badly written it is hard to understand what they are trying to say. (please note, I am NOT trying to start a fight here!!!) If not a grammer checker, a spell checker at least. Please?
If this is practical it would make a great addition to this forum.

Re:spel cheque

You could always type it in WORD first and spell check it... then copy, paste and post it! ;D

Tony

Re:spel cheque

Hey Tony,,,,,,,,,
How did you know I was doing that? ,,,,,,,, Well sometimes. : Most of the spell checkers that I've seen on the other forum boards generally are not located on the same forum board. It sends you to another URL. I have found that by keeping a blank MS Word window open and doing the copy & paste trick is actually faster.
I do this when my brain cell (not plural) is having a bad day. But most of the time, I think that folks really don't care if there are a few misspelled words or someone’s grammar is not quite perfect.
I'll point this post out to the webmaster and let him decide if there is a better solution, but I don't think that our forum board software has a spell-check option. ;D

Re:spel cheque

This has been around the block before. One of our members came up with http://www.iespell.com Works great, sits on your tools list. I use it all the time (when I remember to that is) and it really works great. You type up your submission to the forum, go to tools-iespell and it will spell check your submission.

~Dave

Re:spel cheque

Dave is correct that iespell works great! I use it and all I have to do is right click and click on check spelling in the text box after laying down my words of wisdom ;D
