I have a feeling they might start offering manual hubs as an option in the future. Seems like there is enough demand for it.

that is a new truck without a driveline,i am not sure h/d trucks still make them because of title troubles example 2010 truck with an older driveline and with all the comp. on new trucks makes this an impossibilty

Don't know how you'd p-pump a common rail engine but I still want a new 1st Gen dadgummit! Or even a crew cab 2nd Gen.

I was just thinking, whoever bought the dies from Chrysler, could start poping out new parts and re-make the truck(like year one did with the chevy) i think there would be a lot of demand for those parts!!! or whole truck...

I lost all my links, but this(Ted sterner) was one of the first places to do it. There are several companies offering kits and individual parts to do it now.

That's my point. I have no desire to buy any of the newer emissions-choked vehicles. I refuse to take an economic hit on buying a truck who's sticker price is almost as much as I paid for my house and land that can't even get close to 20 MPG. Hell my 17 year old truck can easily get 20+ if I keep my foot out of it and when it breaks I can fix it myself for cheap. The same can't be said for any of these new trucks. And I'm not even going to get started on the cotton picking DPF bravo sierra that we have been strong-armed into accepting.

If I can't get a new complete 1st Gen or a CC 2nd Gen then I'd sure be interested in a glider kit like you posted. Then I can get a new body and frame and put a decent drive train in it.
