How can I get to the point I can post attachments?

 

You can't. In order to post a pic, you need to link to it from another site, or upload it to your gallery and link from there. No other attachments allowed.

 

Whoa, easy fella.

No user can post attachments into a thread. The only people that have that priveledge is us Admin, and even then its not something we use. Several reasons:

An attached file is uploaded into the forum database. For one, this requires a lot more bandwidth as many users now can download the file from the forum database.
Second, attached files take up a lot more space in the forum database than does text from a post.

You can kinda attach things in a post. Say if you want to put up a picture, you can use the IMG tags to post it, or use a hyper link. If you need help with using either of those tools please let me know.
